Can CPPS/Prostatitis cause penile inflammation and painful erection?

Male 29 years.

Been struggling with what the doctors I saw believe is a benign prostatitis. All my blood, urine, stds tests, pelvis MRI and ultrasounds came back clean. So they think I have the non bacterial kind… I have the pain that everyone is talking about especially on the left side and some urinary symptoms but what’s bothering me and making very anxious is the penile pain I have and the inflammation also mostly on the left side of the shaft and I have a weird red irritated skin right under the glans, it doesn’t really show when it is flaccid, it is mostly when the penis is erect. Also there is some kind of vein (doesn’t look like it’s filled with blood though) that pops up with the pressure when it’s erect. It is quite painful. My penis feels hotter than it should when erect also. Aside from the burning sensation in the whole urethra.. Does anyone have that too?

I have spoken about this many times to many doctors/urologists but no one seemed to give any importance to it and nobody confirmed to me that yes it is part of the CPPS. I have done all the possible STDs tests through urine, came back negative. Not sure if there any that need to be done differently like through semen or a swab to be able to rule them out. And please don’t tell me to go see a doctor, I have seen more than 10 doctors in 6 months and I’m just starting to loose hope in médecine to say the least.

Chronic (90-120 days+ and continuing) non-bacterial prostatitis IS CPPS. It's just another name. If you have the condition, you should proceed to the methods for addressing as discussed in our 101.

I hope you get well soon,

Yes bro same even I asked this question about inflamation of the foreskin and under glans even its on my glans sometimes that goes and comes and many other have posted this as well in this forum as well as in few others too so it's is due to CPPS for sure as the pelvic floor puts pressure on the dorsal nerve that controls the skin of penis so that gets irritated and make it inflamed but I have shown mine to doctors too even I have a needle like redness on glans but doctors said it's nothing. And I have shown it to 3 urologist and 2 GPs. So, it's nothing but that same CPPS shit.

Thanks for your reply. Kind of reassuring to know I’m not the only one on that boat.. how long have you been dealing with this? Have you been prescribed anything for that specific pain/inflammation?

As per my knowledge it started since I am having all these symptoms of CPPS. No none of the doctor suggested anything they seem to be don't care about it at all. So, now I am not caring about it too. Inflamation increases for me after sitting for too long or masturbation.
