Since 1992, Josef Burger and his family have successfully managed the winery in the Lower Austrian winegrowing region Kamptal, where the winemaking tradition dates back to 1812. The vineyards of our winery are located in the wine town of Zeiselberg - Gobelsburg, which belongs to the largest wine town in Austria - Langenlois, 70 km northwest of Vienna at the crossroads of two valleys, the Kamptal and the Danube valley. The liaison of hot days and cool nights, the union of Danube and Kamptal the geological and climatic diversity of the layers characterize our wines.

The varied vegetation of the GREEN FERTILIZATION preserves the naturalness and biological vitality of our soils.Currently we manage 20 ha of vineyards in the best locations. Good wine is already produced in the vineyard and therefore it is important for us to work in harmony with nature. The grapes are harvested and pressed as gently as possible. Slow cool fermentation produce fruity sparkling white wines and red wines are matured depending on the variety in large oak barrels or in small oak barrels. Many years of experience and critical openness to modern knowledge are our recipe for success.
