This is a fascinating museum, with a host of old buildings to discover, living demonstrations of historic jobs and lifestyles and other delightful touches such as carefully researched garden planting to give many of the buildings their proper setting. You can tell that the whole place was established, and is still run, with love and genuine enthusiasm. 'The Repair Shop' from TV is based there but can only be viewed from a discreet distance. Unlike most stately homes, etc, this place is also really dog-friendly, with only a small handful of parts off limits to furry friends.

The festival of Flowers at the was lovely but expensive! The entrance price is £18 and I think I just about got my moneys worth.
All the displays were lovely with a good mixture of flowers.
It’s a nice visit but I’ve done it now and won’t be going back for the festival again.

It has a great line-up of aircraft outside (Harriers, Sea Vixen, Phantom) but that doesn’t prepare you for the huge and comprehensive collection inside the museum. There are another 12 complete military aircraft, including Swift, Hunter, Lysander, Lightning and Spitfire. It took me back to visits as a 12-year old to Farnborough air shows in the early 1960’s. There are lots of displays explaining all aspects of military aviation history covering weapons, the first war, the Battle of Britain, engines, and tales of heroism.
I worked for a while in design support on some of these aircraft so was fairly knowledgeable but I learned a lot more that day by just chatting to the friendly and helpful guides. One highlight for me was getting up close to the Lightning, a real beast of a plane. The other high point was looking into the cramped Canberra cockpit and listening to a recording of the crew going through the pre-flight checks.
A super museum with clear interpretations and displays and really nice guides to help with any questions you have. All that and a nice cafe made my afternoon whizz by.

We had a lovely day at Tinwood! The wines are good and very reasonably priced. The tour isn't too long as the wine isn't made there so no indoor talks which having been on quite a few tours, I didn't mind at all.
Our guide - HOLLY -was outstanding. Her informative chat delivered with great composure and humour.
We could sit outside after the tasting even though it was chilly due to the heating above the tables. Much appreciated.
The 4 rather than 5 star would be the prices of some of the lunch items. However everything we had was very tasty and their own produced honey is divine!

What a superb performance, we went as two couples and we all loved it.

A superb production with wonderful acting, superb costumes, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Can’t wait to return again to see Oliver in August.

Well done CTF. We drive from Wiltshire to visit the CFT.

Lovely scenery, very tranquil. Enjoyed the walk through the trees and was pleasantly surprised to find a landscape of Rhododendrons in a variety of gorgeous colours. We had to queue for 35 minutes in the cafe as it was extremely busy (we went during Mental Health Awareness week when it was free to enter) but the staff were very friendly.

A lovely place to visit. The only sad thing to see, were all the houses with amazing views sitting empty. It really sucks the heart out of a place.
We drove to Itchenor and took the ferry across to Bosham and walked to the village.
A great way to spend a day.

I knew that the garden was there somewhere but it is hidden at the back of the cathedral alongside the city walls. Most of it is well laid out but some areas were neglected but obviously not all deliberately. Thus the signage could have been better and some of the paths at the back cleared but a pleasant enough area for a rest after wandering around the Cathedral with a limited amount of seating with most people respecting the plants and atmosphere. There are some information boards about to enhance the visit.

Muddy but amazing walk with great trees to see. We enjoyed this with the family. It had been raining so very muddy but great to be in a wood with such fantastic, old trees.

As always, a wonderful range of flowers for the garden. My favourites are these nemesia 'vanilla'. Well labeled, plenty of compost for the roots, and good value for money.
