Centaurus High School Reviews
Rating 3.78 out of 5 291 reviews
The engineering program at Centaurus High School is phenomenal, the teachers are amazing and all the kids are nice. The amount of resources that the school receives towards its engineering program is amazing. It is truly an engineering school, I've come to think that because after 3 years of going there, other programs in the school are good but the engineering truly excels. You can trust most of the staff at Centaurus High School and all of the students are extremely kind, it is a very friendly and welcoming school. It has less money than the other high schools in the area such as Monarch and Fairview, but it has the best engineering program in the district and also has solid education. Sports are not a huge deal at Centaurus High School but the teams do well. As for the music program, they win the state championship for marching band on the regular and we won last year, buy a significant margin.
Centaurus High School is praised for its strong academic support and commitment to diversity. The teachers are knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring every student reaches their full potential. The school fosters an inclusive environment where students from different backgrounds feel valued and respected. While the counseling support for college choice could be improved, the teachers' dedication and passion make a difference in students' lives. Enhancing personalized support and information during the college application process would benefit students. Additionally, investing in better sports facilities and resources would attract more students to participate in athletics and promote a healthy lifestyle. Overall, Centaurus High School provides an excellent educational experience.
It's honestly a pretty basic school. A lot of the students aren't very good people, but there isn't a rampant bullying probably, just an average amount for a high school. The bathrooms are a nightmare as people are constantly vaping. The food is not good because it's a BVSD school which automatically means the food is disgusting.
