Richard X.Heyman is a New Jersey resident whose career began prior to this debut (the 'Actual Size' EP in 1986) but this is where he really came into his own: melodic, guitar-driven pop with an idiosyncratic voice and original songwriting skills.

The second best of Heyman's albums, after _Cornerstone_ (1998), it sort of peters out after the jaunty opening five tracks.

Well, hey the only other rating at this point is from nxheyman (hmmm) and that person really likes all Richard X. Heyman records (hmmm). Anyways, this is right up my power-pop alley, but I don't think it's a classic of the genre or anything.
