What travellers are saying
- Beth Anne P64 contributionsThe outside of the western entrance is a beautiful, historic building. The east side is hyper modern. Inside is absolutely crazy...to the point where I needed a brief moment to myself when we arrived here on the bullet train and spent a significant amount of time trying to find the exit. But it was still an experience I won't forget navigating the size of the place and the sheer volume of people. There are a ton of shops and restaurants in the building making it easy to buy food for your journey. Its worth going there and passing through to get a sense of the intensity of the commute people in Tokyo must do every single day. Ok, you will experience this anywhere on the train line and some of the other larger stations like Ueno etc. as well. But Tokyo Central Station is all of that, injected with steroids. Don't avoid it!Written 19 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

It is a nice museum but unfortunately I did not have much time.Written 28 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The selection of goods here is high and the vendors will bargain with you. Make sure you go only on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. Prices can trend higher than shrine sales here but typically lower than antique markets.
There is an ATM in the International forum next to the convenient store (go down the escalator to find)Written 10 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Abovetheclouds2,032 contributions
