TROY is a quaint New England town nestled at the base of beautiful Mount Monadnock in unspoiled Southwestern New Hampshire. Troy offers all the charms of a small, self-sufficient New England community with exceptional opportunities for recreation; including hiking, climbing, biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hunting, fishing, and much more, while vacationing at local inns or bed & breakfasts. In addition, there are opportunities to explore the region's history, browse local shops, and sample local cuisine and home grown produce. As a strong and active community, Troy provides excellent police, fire, and ambulance service, strong local schools, and boasts a fine, modern library. There are active senior citizen and other community groups sponsoring a variety of activities and special events throughout the year. Less than two hours from Boston in the heart of the Monadnock Region, we believe this is the place to both live and work.
