More than field studies. Want a snorkel or dive tour they can do that. Great beach and your welcome to use it and even chase bonefish. Ricardo is very knowledgeable and can help you with lots of great information on the area. Stop in and say hello.

Great reef but very difficult to find someone to take you there. You could go on your own but nowhere to rent a boat. I would suggest try Ricardo at Forfar Field station to take you out. Reef it self is spectacular.

I hired Barbara Moore as a Tour Guide and she was fantastic! Really knowledgeable and safe as well. I highly recommend hiring her. She is a local and not only went out of her way to show me an amazing Blue Hole that we could swim in and get out of safely but she took me for an amazing fresh fish cooked right on the grill in front of us lunch that was truly an Andros Island experience along with other neat Andros Island sightseeing areas she showed me. I highly recommend hiring her at PH: 1.242.475.0354 or email: mrsbarbarajanemoore@gmail.com

Barbara is really knowledgeable with the local plants that grow along the trails of the Blue Holes National Park and how the locals use the plant leaves in many instances as medicine. It was really interesting to learn this.

Great views. It's cool to go when the waves are splashing over the top. It's a quick visit but the climb can be challenging for the less agile or very young. Look for small rock ledges worn into an alternating uneven stair pattern. There are no railings up there so mind your young ones. Don't miss Morgan's cave on the right side of the road on the way up. :)

The snorkeling trips took us to some fantastic beaches. The water was unbelievably blue and clear. My favorite beach was Somerset Beach. It was low tide with many water pools left to explore. You could walk a half mile or more to get to the ocean. I found great shells at the high tide mark and in the shallow pools. That was on my first trip there with a Jr. high Science class. i was just on the trip for fun. No obligations. Just filling a seat. The wind blew all the time, so there were no mosqutos. The waves were a bit scary for a first time snorkeler, but I learned. The accomodations were not the greatest but the days on the ocean made up for any lack comfort. Go only if you still have a sense of adventure. If you are going for leisure only, try one of the resorts.

A must experience for and visiting scuba diver. Over the Wall to 150 to 200 feet is an exciting adventure. During this trip, as same as previous trips, the dive staff, supporting these dives, proved diligent and informative and provide a lot of confidence. You always feel safe with their supervision.

This is an easy and beautiful 15 minute walk over a rock path to a magical blue hole where you can feel completely alone. Unlike some other blue holes this doesn't have a jump in point, just a simple walk in along a shallow rock ledge. Definitely wear water shoes as the rocks on the ledge are a little sharp. Beautiful! (Just park along the sign which is on the highway about a mile or two north of the turn off for Captain Bill's Blue Hole). It's not a huge sign - just a bit of a hand painted wood marker. But definitely worth a stop. We saw a Least Grebe on the water and a Curly Tailed Lizard and an Emiva on the path to the swimming hole!

I did this dive a couple of years ago. It requires experience and carefully following the dive master's detailed instructions and supervision. Its a fabulous dive in that it combines deep wall decent and cavern/chimney ascent with interesting geology and marine wildlife. A never to forget experience.

Our family of 4 had a terrific day with Dave. It was the perfect way to get to know the beauty and wonder of Andros Island. We saw many beautiful places and lots of wildlife, swam in blue holes, learned the island's history, and met some very interesting people. Dave will take good care of you.

This is not a thing to do. No signage indicating where it is let alone what is done there. Could be somewhere where to educate people about land crab but this is just land.

We had an awesome day with Jesse and the crew at Andros Diving!

The vibe was friendly but professional, and they were great at handling our big, mixed group. We had people who'd never snorkeled before alongside diving buffs, not to mention a bunch of kids in the mix, and he made sure everyone had a good time. We got to do a bit of everything – snorkeling, diving, and even some island-hopping with the kids in tow.

What really made the day stand out was how down-to-earth and knowledgeable Jesse was.

Hanging out with his family was a bonus. They were super welcoming and just great people to be around, making the whole experience feel more like a day out with friends than a booked tour.

It was laid-back, fun, and just what you'd want from a day in the Bahamas. All in all, our day with Andros Diving was top-notch!
