Sports analyst and Florida State alum Danny Kanell seemed a bit salty after Oklahoma beat his Seminoles to win the NCAA softball championship. He's spent most of the last 12 hours on Twitter getting Sooners fans mad at him.

In a series of tweets, Kanell has ripped the Oklahoma softball team for not having a tougher road schedule for most of the season and went so far as to make a poll about it to see how many people agreed with him.

When he posted the question "Is playing a championship in your backyard an advantage for the home team?" Kanell really started getting ratio'd to hell on Twitter.

Oklahoma Sooners fans have admonished Kanell for being jealous of Oklahoma's accomplishment and using fallacious arguments to try and tear the team down.

"Gee Danny, let's ask Nebraska baseball...who is less than 1 hr away from where they've been playing the CWS since 1950 but hasn't won it a single time. You really are a pathetic grifter, aren't you? Are you that devoid of value to offer that this is what you have to resort to?" one user replied.

"OU Softball played 62 softball games this year. Only 19 on their homefield. No team plays more games on the road than these ladies. For this team, it would not matter where they played. Get over your jealously," wrote another.

"Hey we have this site where we have hosted the WCWS since 1990 that also hosts our hall of fame and where attendance is great, but let's move it cause a fan base is upset about it," a third wrote.

Kanell really stepped in it here.
