The Pub The Cricketers is a country pub and dining rooms with a large beer garden and outdoor patio dining in the summer. The pub is a beautifully refurbished and extended early 19th century public house. Once known to the locals as “The Old Orchard House”, we really are a hidden gem on Cricketers Lane in Warfield, just a short drive from Ascot Racecourse, Legoland and Bracknell. We are family friendly and also happy to welcome dogs into our bar and garden areas as we always have a jar of dog treats in the porch. Whether you want to warm yourself in the sun outside in the summer with a glass of Pimms or enjoy a perfect pint of cask conditioned real ale in front of a real log fire in the winter, the Cricketers is the perfect place for a drink. If you are looking for a great venue for a family get together, a working lunch, special occasion or a light snack we’d love you to join us.

    We love going to the Cricketers, we always have an enjoyable time. The staff are so friendly. Gutted you’ve taken the pork bites and calamari off but the chicken skewers are delicious! Great food, great wine, great atmosphere

    Very nice pub with pretty garden space. The menu sounds delicious with some exotic dishes but unfortunately the dishes didnt deliver in flavour. The service was great, attentive, friendly. We sat outside with our dog and enjoyed ourselves.

    A really lovely placed restaurant with super helpful and friendly staff that could not have done more to accommodate my family and I. We received menu recommendations and the food was delicious but the staff there were what really made it for us. Thank you!

    We’ve been to the Cricketers a few times before and it’s been great, on this occasion the service wasn’t as good as usual and I was charged for two pints I didn’t have, which I didn’t realise until we got home and I looked at my receipt, With the roast a couple more potatoes would be good, otherwise the food was fantastic as usual.

    Thank you for making my Mother’s Day one to remember, I couldn’t fault anything from start to finish. I was greeted at the bar and showed to a table offered my complementary Prosecco and asked if I wanted drinks or did I need a minute to choose then given some time to look at the menu and was offered a few suggestions. I went for the Lamb, its not usually on the menu but it should be it was cooked perfectly along with its accompaniments. My children enjoyed their food too and cleared their plates. The sticky toffee pudding was yummy. I’ll return as the staff were very friendly and attentive also the blackboards for the kids was a hit and a good selection of beers wines and soft drinks. Looking forward to the sun shining so I can enjoy the outside.

    Lovely Pub however food was lacking something. Ordered full roast (beef). Portion size was ok but the meat was very tough and grissley. Had trouble cutting it. Food was also quite cold in places. Clementine & ginger pudding with custard was lovely however portion size. I thought I had ordered a taster portion! Tiny jug of custard with an egg cup sized steamed pud. Pricewise it was a bit expensive for the quality of the food. Staff were very friendly.
