Gregory Peck First Wife: Who Is Greta Kukkonen?

Greta Kukkonen is mostly recognized for being the first wife of Gregory Peck.  Peck was active in politics in addition to his acting profession. In 1947, he fought the House Un-American Activities Committee, and President Richard Nixon deemed him a political opponent.

President Lyndon B. Johnson awarded Peck the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1969 for his lifelong humanitarian activities. Peck died quietly in his sleep at the age of 87 from bronchopneumonia.

Due to skipping one course, Peck did not graduate with his college friends. His pals were concerned about how he would fare without a degree.
