UIDAI: How to book appointment for Aadhaar card online

The Aadhaar number is a unique 12-digit number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to residents. Individuals, regardless of age or gender, who are Indian residents can enrol for an Aadhaar number for free of cost. Residents have the option to schedule an appointment online for themselves, family members, or friends. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has established Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) nationwide.
These centres provide various Aadhaar-related services, including new enrollment and Aadhaar updates.You can use the online appointment service to schedule a visit to an Aadhaar Seva Kendra for these services. Residents can avail themselves of the following services at these designated UIDAI-operated Kendras:


Step 1: Go to the official UIDAI website - myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Navigate to the "Book an Appointment" link on the homepage.
Step 3: Choose your city/location and click on "Proceed to Book Appointment" on the new page.
Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page, fill in required details such as Mobile Number, Captcha code, and click "Generate OTP" on another new page.
Step 5: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, enter it, and click "Verify OTP".
Step 6: Your appointment details will appear on the screen.
Step 7: Select Resident Type, Appointment Type, Application Verification Type, State, City, Aadhaar Seva Kendra, and enter Aadhaar Number and Name. Click "Next".
Step 8: Choose the field(s) to be updated (e.g., Name, Gender, New Mobile Number, Email ID, Address, Date of Birth, and Biometric) and click "Next"
Step 9: Review your appointment and personal details on the next page, then click "Submit".
Step 10: Complete the online payment of the applicable fee, and your appointment will be confirmed. You will get an SMS confirmation on your registered mobile number.
