Laura DuBois took a listing and then promptly left for Florida for 3 months. During that time she was only available occasionally (every couple weeks she would call in.) We could not get in to see the house we were interested in. Then, when we went directly to the seller, she was annoyed and took it out on us. When negotiations were needed she did nothing to help the process along. She would inaccurately quote both the seller (we understand) and us to the seller. She made it harder to buy this house. Then she was unavailable to get us into the house with contractors. We asked for only 2-3 visits, but she got the sellers to restrict our access. Finally, when we were closing despite her, she was unavailable for a final walk through. We think the sellers thought the house was ready to close, but the basement and barn were filled to the brim with junk. We had to rely on our lawyer to get it resolved. All in all, a terrible brokerage experience

THE SALE FROM HELL! While on vacation, my calls were covered on a daily basis by myself & my office. I never worked for Donna. I was hired as a seller's agent, which meant I had to respect the seller's wishes. When negotiations were not going well, Donna bypassed her buyer's agent & asked me to speak directly to the seller. I gave her his number, they made an agreement & went to contract. From that point on, I am not sure what went on between the buyer's agent & Donna but the buyer's agent called me & said he wasn't going to work for her any more. First time I have heard of an agent doing that. After the tenants moved out, I did a walk-through with the buyers & sellers & the sellers hired a person to clean the barn & take a "few" items that were left in the basement. I was not informed when the buyer closed on the property; the lawyer did not resolve anything or inform me that it closed. All in all, a terrible experience for me, my sellers & obviously, the buyer's agent.
