Griffith Woods Park Outer Loop

One of the few city walks that’s through trees

You have to take the same part back that you came from as it's been permanently closed but it's still a beautiful walk

“Dangerous bear in vicinity” signage today, with trail partially closed off to the public.

Beautiful hike. Very peaceful, nice scenery.

Lovely and not at all busy in the morning. There were some muddy patches but easy to go around. Recommend this walk.

Just a few icy patches,but oweral beautiful trail with amazing view and clear water!

Walking forest walk. If you go in a circle counterclockwise, then I liked the second half of the path better.

Very quiet walk, needs spikes as 90% still ice. One negative thing is that there’s lots of dog poop, unfortunately. Unbelievable how people just don’t clean up after their dogs.

Snow packed trail

Hard packed paths and lots of icy spots. Micro spikes were helpful. Another great urban trail

Feb 4/24 - Snowy but the trails are easy to follow. Some ice underneath the snow so be mindful. Spikes not needed.

Very peaceful place to walk/run and close access. This time of the year spikes are an asset. Lots of areas that are icy.

Packed snow , no slippery sections , weather was great , made for an enjoyable walk/hile

The paths were hard packed and easy to walk on. It was a beautiful day, finally the temperatures warming up.

Slippery on the ice so crampons recommended but great network of paths

Beautiful and quick loop. Quiet and flat. 5 stars for a family walk or easy run, but be aware of icy conditions. Yak Trax recommended.
