I have this problem now and I haven't taken an update in a while. If I just had an update then I would understand new problem.

When I push the button I hear a clicking noise but door does not open. When I click it again no noise no nothing. I try over and over pushing the button but nothing. I then have to use app to unlock and open door.

I know they say try to disconnect the battery. I would try that but to much of a pain to get to the battery. Dumb design. Ford help me out here. Send update to fix it or have ford service fix it.

When that happens, try pressing the other door button on that side. E.g. front door won’t open, so press back door button instead.

There is an update that improves PAAK coming. You could try pulling the RFA/BLE module fuse if you want. I’d also reboot my phone if you had issues.

Wife was on other side (passenger) and it wouldn't open either.

I think I had the PAAK update already. It said something like it was going to enlarge the area to open door.

Another reason ford should leave all updates listed in messages. Like they use to do so you can go back and reference what update you got.

So if none of the buttons are working, then it's probably an issue with your phone. Kill all the apps and reboot your phone. Make sure power saving is disabled if you have an Android phone.

Here is what it's doing.

In the morning button does not work. I use phone to unlock car

Drive to the store come out buttons works.
Go to different store come out and buttons work.

I'm thinking maybe car goes into a very deep sleep or something. Even though phone app will wake it up an unlock for me.

First time I thought oh no 12v battery is dead. But when phone app unlocked figure not the 12v battery. If it was then nothing would have worked.

I rebooted phone and check that power savings was off. So guess we will see tomorrow morning if buttons work.

Well buttons worked this morning. Hopefully it just needed phone reboot. I will report back if it does it again.
