Union High School Reviews
Rating 4.12 out of 5 740 reviews
Union High School is a great place to stay in as it offers many different types of courses for its students. The building is spacious with many different food courts to choose from for lunch. Many of the staff and students are very friendly as well. The only problem this school has is safety, because the school is open campus during lunchtime, many students leave the school and come back in. This could cause an issue if an intruder wanted to come in disguised as a student. So far though this has never happened, which is good.
Our experience with Union High School has been relatively good. I would like to see more parent and teacher involvement. As well as more clubs for the children. I feel like Union had a great sense of diversity, which has helped my student grow into an amazing person. Overall would rate this school an 8/10.
To enhance their educational experiences, Union Public Schools provides students with a variety of learning options outside of the regular classroom setting. Apart from exceptional programs for elementary school students, Union also provides programs for Native American students, after-school activities for the entire district, and year-round initiatives like the Child Nutrition Farm To School program to create a more comprehensive learning environment.
Based at the high school, the College & Career Center also organizes several secondary programs that offer educational opportunities ranging from internships to guest lecturers. Beyond U, an all-day event with a special speaker and a field trip to Oklahoma State University's Tulsa campus where seniors can hear about class opportunities after school, is organized by College and Careers every fall.
