Namrata Joshi The Hindu Bharat is way too ponderous and plodding. Jun 7, 2019 Full Review Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Yes, it's all very Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and all very 'filmi', haha, but who doesn't love the idea of long-separated loved ones being reunited? Treacle it may be, but the tears are real. And moving: my eyes were moist, even when I knew I was being played. Rated: 2.5/5 Jun 7, 2019 Full Review Anupama Chopra Film Companion The South Korean film on which this is based in a masterclass in melodrama, while this is bloated and inconsistent... Jun 7, 2019 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV What the film delivers is way short of the bar that it sets for itself. Jul 17, 2020 Full Review Kat Halstead Common Sense Media Historical family Bollywood action drama has some violence. Rated: 3/5 Apr 23, 2020 Full Review Musanna Ahmed Film Inquiry Despite the solid base in remaking Ode to My Father, Bharat turns out to be a very middling experience, undercutting genuine emotion and tension with cheap humour and overdrawn sequences. HIMANSHU S good movie please watch it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/20/23 Full Review Priyank M Best Acting Best Story Best Vfx Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/23/23 Full Review Nali A This is a good movie. A lot to show in the time slot. However, Salman Khan and others did a good job to tell many stories which actually have taken place in the lives of thousands upon thousands of people impacted by the partition and as immigrants. The emotions are carried well and do hit the heart. I think Salman Khan successfully showed that he can wear many hats at once and carry them well. It is very sad to think about how many people struggled during this era and thereafter. People did die. People did sacrifice. People did separate. Young men left home to earn a living. Women stayed home and carried the weight of maintaining every other challenge at home. Granted as a bollywood movie there will be some over the tops scenes, but, each time we watch this movie, we are definitely left in tears in many parts. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/11/23 Full Review Asjad F Awesome movie ali abbas zafar salman khan togetherness 3 superhit together sultan tiger zinda hai and bharat movie and got mixed review but did good business at the box office Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/15/22 Full Review adi 1 While the film's 2nd half may be slow and some humor may sound illogical with some unnecessary action scenes towards the end. The film still entertains while telling an emotional story and features some surprisingly good performances.
