Food and service were excellent!!!! Hot, delicious and came out very quickly. Highly recommend!! Roast chix, spaghetti and philly steak were perfectly prepared!

Not a good experience

Had to pay extra for small Condiments including syrup that should come with French toast. Potato salad had a sour taste. No ketchup on the cheeseburger. No napkins no silverware and they forgot 3 small milks so we had to drive back after being on the road for over 12 hours.

This place is friendly with great homemade food, some of my favorites! Best turkey club and soups. Plenty of table space but also has a drive thru pick up. I go once a month!

Love Ziggie's!

We had a huge group (35 or so) and the staff did an excellent job of taking care of us. They were fast and efficient. I didn't hear anyone complain. You have to try the Ziggie Chicken Strips!

Ziggie's has been here forever. I remember Saturday mornings fishing with my grandfather and we would always stop here returning home-that was 40 years ago! The food, prices and service are decent.

Went to Ziggies for lunch with a friend. The parking is convenient and has ample handicap parking. The restaurant has an an indoor ramp to keep wheelchair users out of the elements. They offer a covered drive up curbside service if you choose to order takeout which makes it very convenient. There were 2 of us at the table and we requested separate tickets, when our meals arrived part of each of our meals were on the other's plates and the sandwiches didn't have the correct toppings we ordered. The waitress although very friendly appeared stretched very thin and was having a difficult time of keeping up. She did mention the reason our meals didn't come out correctly was because the owner was on vacation so I am assuming things go better when he is there. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable with plenty of tables. The tables however were very close together so not real covid appropriate.

Excellent home cooked meals!

Excellent home cooked meals and fantastic service! The homemade beef barley soup and fresh baked dinner rolls were flavorful and filling. The Farmers Steak smothered with milk gravy, mashed potatoes and carrots was delicious and plentiful. I chose the home fried potatoes topped with grilled onions to accompany the bbq chicken (all dark meat) and carrots. Our server was friendly and kept our coffee cups filled. Definitely a place to stop at when in the area!

Great Little Restaurant

We stopped by on our way to St Louis for some early lunch. The place was very full, but we got seated immediately. This is your typical small-town restaurant where many locals eat. There are no frills, the prices are very fair and the portions were generous. The menu was actually quite large for a small town but both of us went with eggs and bacon. The food was good.

Best friend chicken ever!!

So worth the drive off the highway. let me just say that I have had a lot of fried chicken in my life and ziggies is at the top. I had the fried burger with cheese. This place does a great job! The service was great, clean diner, great food, & great prices. $40 for 2 adults and 4 kids to eat. Ok 2 of those kids eat adult meals also. Usually it is at least $60 to feed us dinner. This is now our second time being able to time our dinner to be at ziggie's on our family trip to Ohio. We will be back for sure. Plus the waitress let us know about the town fireworks 5 minutes away. That made the kids even more happy! We will be back!!

Liver and onions and super porkie are what memories are made of. No dress up here. Where the locals eat. Been a late night early breakfast place for years.

A local hangout, yet travelers are welcome and well taken care of. Food was the usual family restaurant fare, tasty and ample. When coming off the interstate, just follow the main road in. Restaurant will be on your left.

Suprise Birthday

Approximately 30 family members reserved the back room for a surprise Birthday party. We were taken care of by several waitresses and they did an excellent job!
