Navigating this awkward college environment feels like constantly dodging social landmines. Every interaction is a delicate dance, teetering on the edge of embarrassment. Conversations stutter friendships waver, and the cafeteria is a battlefield of self-consciousness. Yet, amidst the awkwardness, there's a strange camaraderie—a silent agreement that we're all in this together. Shared awkward moments become the glue that binds us, and laughter becomes our saving grace. Despite the cringe-worthy mishaps, I find myself growing and learning, turning each stumble into a step toward self-discovery and confidence. In this sea of awkwardness, I'm finding my footing and learning to laugh at myself.
So far, I love Onondaga. I like that there is so much nature incorporated into the campus, and that there is a lot of outdoor seating and lounge available. My professors are also great and very helpful as far as making sure I know all the information I will need for my boards!
I was hesitant on going to college because I wasn’t sure how I’d do but I can overall say that Onondaga community college was the best choice I could have ever made, I have made so many new friends and enjoy being a full time student.
