Place were amazing. Went on weekdays; it was a smart choice as they were less people. So we didn't queue up for the activities. The most epic was zip coaster; the longest coaster; it was lit. Damn did that particular activities twice. If you do height fear, please do come here and overcome it. Flying fox, kite flyer was also the amazing & life-taking activities. We did camp here at the base camp. Speaking of camping, what is camping if it is without barbecue with friends. Don't have to worry on the tents & barbecue equipment, everything was provided. The employee, Masum helped us a lot for the setup as well, He was so friendly as we met him on the coaster as well.
It is a nice place to chill with friends & couples. Those who haven't try; give a try & I guarantee you will not regret it if you are really an outdoor person.

I visited the mansion and joined the English tour given by Francis. It was a very informative and humorous tour (RM25): Francis has a lovely manner about him and he answered questions very knowledgably as well. The mansion is gorgeous, so beautifully maintained and with a lot to see. Also highly recommend the cafe/gift shop: the nyonya cakes at the cafe are delicious!

We were on an organised tour by Tui for Georgetown from the top - and it certainly did not disappoint . We had fasttrack tickets and therefore very little queuing - the funicular is pretty steep and if you are able to get into the front carriage you can admire the view as you are ascending to the top.
We had about an hour to have a look around and took the opportunity to ride one of the golf carts that take you to past the old colonial cottages. It only cost about £5 per cart for 4 people . Enough time to admire the view and have a sorbet to cool us down .

Pretty wow for an animal attraction in Penang. This is probably the best “zoo” in penang. But, of course, this is an butterfly and insect museum. The way the museum presented with a lot of information was really thoughtful.

Excellence service from Mr Resty. He was patient, attentive to the needs of my elderly parents, and would go the extra mile to make all the necessary arrangements for our convenience.
The food available at the hotel was good too, like nyonya curry laska, aglio olio - al dente spaghetti (from Mangga), prawn mee, dhal (breakfast), and the dining experience at Indigo was not to be missed. Overall experience was memorable.

Took the first train up to Penang Hill and explored around before entering The Habitat once they opened. We were lucky with the weather as it was sunny yet cooling! The walk on the canopy was quite therapeutic with lots of green and occasional animals along the way. The experience from the tree top walk was a memorable one, especially when you combine beautiful scenery and fear of heights! I definitely recommend coming here if you are planning to go up to Penang Hill. As a side note, you may not have phone signal there.

Having never visited a clan house this was an interesting site to visit. It does not take that long to go through the formal exhibit and to see the site. Well worth a visit if you have never been a clan house.

The Spice Gardens are a short Grab from many hotels in Batu Ferringhi - US 90 cents from the Shangri-La Rasa. We were a little concerned that tours were only on weekends. However, it really didn’t matter because of the Wi-Fi and audio tour. The signage is wonderful and at every point there were stories and facts to enrich the experience. There was also a lot of activities for children - a Fish Spa, Swing, 2 Slides and more. As we were having record heat we arrived when they opened. However, 90% of the Garden is in deep shade and while walking we weren’t really impacted by the sun. An herbal tea is available - 4 choices- for all visitors. The tour is just fascinating even if you aren’t an ardent gardener. So many commonly used plants and their uses as well as those used in traditional cultures among many. We found the sitting in the shade at occasional stops and listening to the audio tour so nice. At the end there is a lovely gift shop that focuses on local products at very reasonable prices - worth a look. Great Fun!

The temple is right opposite Wat Chaymangkalarm - and is the only Burmese Buddhist temple in the state. The oldest part goes back to 1805. It serves as a retreat for devotees as well as a monks quarters.
There is a large statue of Buddha in the main shrine hall which is worth seeing as well as the landscaped gardens and the tall bell tower.
There is an elevator to go up to the third floor but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to see the views.
