Hunters is a drama series, created by David Weil, that premiered on February 21, 2020 on Prime Video.

Synopsis[]

Hunters follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.

On May 17, 2018, it was announced that Amazon Video had given the production a straight-to-series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes.
The series was created by David Weil who was set to executive produce alongside Jordan Peele, Tom Lesinski, Jenna Santoianni, and Win Rosenfeld.
Weil was also expected to write for the series as well.
Production companies involved with the series were slated to consist of Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment.
On August 7, 2018, it was announced that Nikki Toscano had joined the production as an executive producer and would also serve as co-showrunner alongside Weil.
On February 3, 2021 Al Pacino was nominated for Best Television Actor – Drama Series for the 78th annual Golden Globe Awards.^[1]
