John Bapst is a gem of a school nestled into Bangor, Maine. 90% of our students are from Maine, 10% are from other countries. 100% of them are ambitious and talented. They love school and we love working with them! We have an extensive college-prep curriculum that opens doors at top universities in the US and around the World. We are known for our ability to individualize a student's progress through school so they can pursue their passions to a high level. We offer many independent study options and many opportunities for outside work and research: whether it is Field Biology in the Gulf of Maine, published research on variable stars, focused independent work in robotics and computer science, or independent work in art and the humanities.
