Bill Goodwin was a veteran radio, television and screen personality whose voice brought him worldwide fame.
Goodwin left the University of California for a radio announcing career that took him to the top of his profession.
His most famed job was as straight man for comic Bob Hope for many years. He also announced for Joe Penner, George Burns and Gracie Allen, Edgar Bergen, Sammy Kaye and Frank Sinatra.
Among his film credits are "Incendiary Blonde," "Stork Club," "Spellbound," "To Each His Own," "The Jolson Story," "Lucky Me" and "Bundle of Joy."
