Saw X DVD

John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing instalment of the SAW franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game.

Set between the events of SAW I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable.

Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.

The Saw X cover art design pictures the infamous eye-trap that was the first promotional image released by Lionsgate from the movie.

Keeping with the artwork that was used to promote the film and artwork that featured on the official movie posters shown in cinemas across the world this front cover is simple yet effective.

Sadly, no quotes were spotted on the front cover of the film, I do love seeing a good quote or two on the front cover of home entertainment physical store copies but sadly even Spiral didn’t feature any either.

Probably for the best with that particular title…

Saw X blew me away this year and it was a very successful film in the franchise with it grossing over $104 million worldwide compared to its $18 million budget.

Saw X Blu Ray

The moment Saw X was released the filmmakers knew the desire for more Saw movies was there instantly and another Saw movie has already been announced with no further details released.

It’s also unsure of where the next Saw film will stand within the Saw franchise timeline with Saw X takes place between the second and third Saw movie.

Saw X provided a complete rejuvenation of the franchise as we dive deep into John Kramer’s character. We feel his pain, we relate to his emotions and we join him and Amanda as a whole new game has been set out before us.

The missing pieces of the puzzle that have been lost on the franchise for many years has now been discovered resulting in one of the best films of the entire franchise.

A film that somehow balances the emotional aspect of John’s plight with the very dangerous consequences that his victims find themselves in. It’s a beautifully woven story that by some miracle has us siding with John throughout the entire movie.

Saw X is a movie that blows the entire first three Saw movies widen open as we explore an angle of John Kramer’s character that has never been explored before and you will never watch the first three Saw movies the same way ever again.
