It was a fairly average high school experience, but more than anything I wish there was more about college readiness, also the academics there are way easier and the grading is not strict at all.
Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs Iowa is a good high school. They could improve by getting students more ready for college and life after school.
My bra experience has been all right. The teachers don't really seem to care about the students education. And they don't care about any personal problems that the students have for example a family member dying. I miss class for a school activity one day and then the next day my grandma died so I miss class that day. And then a few days after that I had a miss class again for the funeral and when I told my teacher what happened on the first day after I missed it because of my grandma's death he said that was unfortunate.
Abraham lincon is a great school, all the teachers are very kind. The teachers all make sure your highschool experience is one you'll remember. They always come up with fun ways to keep students engaged during lessons.
The students are 50/50 but half of that I blame on the generation and location we were born in. Most of the students are very kind and will help you if you ask, they are very friendly and make the highschool bloom, the other kids that make it iffy are mostly handled by the teachers.
My school makes sure everyone is in a safe place no matter who they are witch I love. My school has many extra curriculars and clubs that are made by the students. I would recommend our school to people in my area because of the bubbly environment we are surrounded in. I am proud to be from AL:)

I really like how there is a variety of students that don’t exactly have to fit in with one specific group. Though, there is many things I would change about this school, like the bathroom pass system, the amount of lunch time we get, being able to go to the Learning Center when we don’t feel safe in a classroom, the food most definitely the food, all the principals (so rude and disrespectful), and most importantly the bathroom locking when all bathroom are always full!
Decent school. I have the ability to take college classes and earn a certificate by the time I graduate. Good robotics club.
I made a lot of friends at my school and teachers are very nice and encouraging. There are many activities to join such as basketball, cross country, track, band, student council, book club etc. There's something for everyone. There's also many opportunities to take college level classes to help prepare for college which I am doing right now.
At Abraham Lincoln, I was blessed to receive an unforgettable experience. This school has staff & teachers who do everything in their power to help us become successful individuals and prepare us for the world. We were able to choose classes that fit us, and had the opportunity to join numerous different clubs & activities.
I think, for the most part, the staff are pretty caring and actually help you with your academics. But the environment in the school isn't the best. I think that recently, everyone has been feeling stressed and that is showing on the teachers and students alike. Overall, it's a decent school and the student body is pretty supportive of others.
Very good school overall. Not very many resources given by the school/district to the music programs at the school.
average school not much else to say on it not much done special not much done above average no distinction from anywhere else
I am currently only a junior, but I've had a pretty great time here. A lot of really great, passionate teachers
It was a very opportunistic school, and many teachers helped guide students to graduation with kindness.
I like the classes. I really have enjoyed the social science classes, legal studies classes, and world religion. The way those classes were taught was very open. It is more of the core classes where I have some disagreements in teaching style but to each their own.
It’s a pretty middle of the road school. Some things they excel at others not so much. The administration is is very unpredictable. But the teachers do a decent job.
I enjoyed the teachers I had while I was at Abraham Lincoln High School. I was the quiet person in class. The teachers always made sure to check up on me to make sure I understood what we were learning. I appreciate that they did that. Most students were also very fun to be around and good to have a conversation with.
Most of the teachers at AL are amazing and you can tell they actually care about their students. However, the reason I give it an average is that I do not really agree with a lot of the curriculum or the decisions the school has made surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.
