Camilla Long Times (UK) ... It is absolutely, incorrigibly, resolutely awful. I don’t mean comically awful, I mean literally the end of culture. Mar 4, 2024 Full Review Geordie Gray The Australian This is a rom-com at its most delightful: warm, witty, and occasionally, quite devastating. Also, it must be mentioned, the soundtrack rips... Feb 17, 2024 Full Review Nadira Goffe Slate If the 2011 film was hard to watch, then Netflix’s new rendition is absolutely excruciating—but this time, it’s a compliment. Feb 14, 2024 Full Review Alison de Souza The Straits Times (Singapore) On top of being a marvellously economical storytelling device, the once-a-year narrative underscores just how fleeting it all is -- the joy and the sorrow. Mar 1, 2024 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba It is hard to stress just how good both Woodall and Mod are here. Emma is instantly likable even with her Angela Chase neuroses, while Woodall has the slightly more difficult task of playing an arrogant cad with whom we are still smitten. Feb 21, 2024 Full Review James Delingpole The Spectator My only reservation is that, at times, it feels like indulging in a too-delicious box of chocolates; binge-watching might prove emetic. Audience Member First episode had me hooked in. It's a really good story and really good acted. It was extremely emotional towards the end. This show is gonna live my head for a while. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/09/24 Full Review Donna W I found this boring, but I really wanted to see what happened at the end. It ended up being predictable and depressing. It left me feeling angry at the person who wrote it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/08/24 Full Review Jennifer J Rooting for them the whole time, then bam the end..kept me in suspense and tears Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/07/24 Full Review John R My wife and I watched this entire series continuing to bank on a payoff that would make these uninteresting and undeveloped characters likable, connected, and compelling. Unfortunately we were left ruing that we didn’t cut and run based on our initial instincts. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Kirsten P The best and worst thing I’ve ever watched all wrapped into one. I cried at every single episode. The story felt so real in comparison to the typical romcom with just another happy ending. It was real, raw and brilliant. You felt like you knew the characters, their emotions, what they wanted. It’s up there with one of the best things I’ve ever watched on TV. Thank you for making me feel so much in such a short space of time. Excellent and couldn’t have chosen two better cast members, I can’t believe it’s over…. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/24 Full Review Stephanie R The actors capture their parts well. We oddly miss 'the moments' we waited for because we already know their affection. I think that Woodall had an outstanding performance, as his character vastly changed throughout the show, masterful mL is my Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
