The debut feature for director Louise Alston, the film is an exploration of relationships, and works extremely well. May 7, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Somehow a charming ode to a phase of life everyone will recognise - lived or seen. Predictable though, even when it doesn't make sense to go the usual way. Very Australian yet without the usual downer, which is a huge plus, just for proving it can be done, never mind making it thoroughly enjoyable! There's also some nice character observations and a good bit of humour too. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a little ray of hope for Australian film. Sure it's not perfect, but it shows what can be done on a tight budget with up and coming Australian talent. At the heart of this film is an albeit predictable and almost cliche romance/relationship between two best friends. But despite the familiar territory explored here it is done in such a refreshing and original way that it makes this an Aussie film worth checking out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Good on Australian films but this one wasn't that great...it was watchable but not really memorable. The dialogue was awful and acting wasn't that solid but it was ok for a film made on a shoe string budget, it was predictable but had a good scene near the end so I can't completely write it off...watch with caution!!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It's true, everyone does leave Brisbane. This is a decent movie. Better than I expected it to be, that's for sure. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Very predictable, but all and all a good flick. Worth seeing, even if just for the local setting...thumbs up. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty good movie. Well worth watching. For 20-30 something /Yuppie/Uni-students it should hit the mark...
