I realise that this has been in print continuosly since 2004, with the exact same cover art, insert and seemingly even using the same stampers. And yes, it's great that the album is available at a nice price to everyone who wants to hear it.
However, I'm asking this as a record collector: does anyone know how to tell a first/early press from a later reissue? There is absolutely no way every pressing of a record that has been in print for 20 years looks exactly the same down to the very last detail.

And please, if you're in it strictly for the music, I get that, but don't bother responding if you don't have an answer to what I'm asking (I posted this question here before and basically only got answers like "they're all the same", which I'm 100% certain isn't the case, and "who cares?". Well, there are quite a lot of record collector's in the world who do in fact care).

Difficult vocals are going to be an obstacle for many, including myself. Otherwise an adventurous and intelligent neo folk experience. Very Bjorkish.

Many represses are being sold as the original, as many people do instead of doing the RIGHT THING AND MAKING A NEW LISTING.

A truly magical album. No complaints about this pressing. I've owned mine for years now - still plays flawlessly and sounds great on my setup.

Just got my copy from Amazon and gave it a good clean but it's still really noisy. Hoping another clean will improve things.a but disappointed but love the album

Holy moly, guys! This album sounds *GREAT* ... I'm honestly shocked at how good it sounds. I bought it straight off of her bandcamp page, by the way. It was available for a fair price and arrived in great shape.

Relatively low signal pressure from being squished onto a 1xLP, but the frequency response and dynamics are nice. The fact that its not big loud guitar drum bass music left them a some room to work with despite being in the 25minute red zone on both sides. You can tell they worked hard on a couple tracks to really have the harp just filling the entire frequency range all by itself.

They have been doing rolling represses of this, and apparently some amount of discs must have spent a long long time sitting around in storage waiting for a new round of sleeves. I bought a new sealed copy in 2021, and upon opening, the media was by the far the nastiest dirtiest dustiest filmiest disc I have ever unsealed, and I've seen some bad ones. I had to do a full wet clean cycle start to finish three times in a row before it looked, felt, and played clean. Nice sound now, though, but be ready to clean the crap out of yours if you grab a new sealed one.

Whew, what a pressing! The best Newsom sounds in this format.
