Giardina's, one of the Mississippi Delta's most historic restaurants, was founded in 1936 by Joseph Giardina, in Greenwood, Mississippi. A unique blend of sophistication and warmth, Giardina's is the perfect setting for any event. Seating consists of fourteen private booths and the large dining room opens onto a beautiful courtyard. The restaurant's interior space and state-of-the-art kitchen were designed by world-renowned architects. Considerable effort was made to retain the character and charm of the original Giardina's, but the white tablecloths and fine crystal add the feeling of elegance one would expect from a fine dining restaurant in a large metropolitan area. Giardina's bar, reminiscent of a bygone era, features the same dark wood and tile of the restaurant while offering today's premium liquors, wines and liqueurs. Featuring steaks, seafood and Italian cuisine, Giardina's atmosphere is old world elegant but dress is laid-back "Delta casual.”

    Wonderful experience! Mahi mahi, shrimp (1 fried and 1 broiled) and filet mignon were all cooked to perfection. Amazing service. All staff persons were welcoming and friendly.

    All around excellent experience! Great service and exceptional food. Portions were perfect sized and well seasoned. Note, the private booths are nice curtained areas with a table and not booth seating. I highly recommend Giardina’s and look forward to our next visit.

    The food was absolutely fabulous. We only dine there on special occasions (our anniversary) mostly because it is quite pricey and we feel guilty about spending that much on food. But my filet was well worth it! Best filet I have ever eaten.

    Food used to be really really good. Over the past few years it’s just taken a huge nosedive. The Crab appetizer was on par with homemade Rotel Dip. The wine selection was awful. The Hotel should make a commitment to really invest in the restaurant or just make it a lobby bar.
