Overall is a great school, but lacks diversity. Many times the teachers or staff are valued over students when incidents occur. I would like for the voice of students to be heard in order to improve morale.
St. Henry Schools lies within the village of St. Henry Ohio. Yes, I said village, not town or city. St. Henry’s population according to the 2021 census was 2,601 people: meaning that St. Henry does not have a high enough population to be considered anything other than a village. The small size of the town also meant small graduating classes. In Most City schools, it is normal for grades to have 200-400 students. At St. Henry Schools, having more than 75 students in a grade was considered a big class, but a smaller class was not a bad thing. I loved how small the student body was at St. Henry. Growing up I was given the chance to know all 74 of my peers and even some of the members of the grades both above and below me. Everybody knew each other at St. Henry and everyone was friendly with one another. The students at St. Henry never worried about fights breaking out or could even imagine the possibility of a school shooting. I have never felt safer than in the village of St. Henry.
I have truly enjoyed all four years of my high school experience. St.Henry District schools not only will teach you to learn but to serve others around you.
