How does this resource excite and engage children's learning?

A brilliant useful activity to check students’ knowledge about each 28 Indian States and their respective capitals, which in turn will help them to learn more about India and increase their knowledge about the country.

Using this activity sheet, teachers can make children -

* identify the name of the capital of each Indian state, and

* practice and reinforce their knowledge of Indian state capital names/locations on the Indian Map.

This handy resource is excellent as a whole-class warm-up exercise before the Indian States and their capitals revision lesson, or as a closing class quiz, where the knowledge that students have acquired over the course of the lesson is tested.

These activities cover in-depth awareness and knowledge on the Indian States and their capitals and thereby enhancing the critical thinking, problem-solving, fine motor skill set of the child, thus, making it a NEP-friendly resource as well and perfect at Preparatory Stage - 3 years from age 8 to 11. This stage includes class 3 to class 5 which consists of the basic learning of all subjects and their integration of activities.

Pair this up with resources, Indian States and Union Territories with their Capitals in Alphabetical Order and Indian State Capitals Word Scramble.
