Atlanta singer/rapper Future-- who has scored guest verses from Drake and T.I.-- is currently wearing the city's pop-rap crown. Instead of milking his underground hits dry, his newest mixtape provides a breeding ground for new ones.
The formula that Future nearly perfected on DIrty Sprite gets nearly perfected for a second time on the Streetz Calling mixtape. What this album does lack in the production and vocal power he had earlier this year, he makes up with a shorter and more consistent tracklisting, and while the album does start off a little bit slow this tape has some of Future's most emotionally heartfelt songs with tons of bangers mixed in, this album checks every mark for what makes a Future album good and ends up ... read more
