The Masked Singer is here with the same judges and a whole new set of celebrities in disguise.
Since every season of The Masked Singer seems to outdo the last, the show is upping the ante in season 4 by introducing an important first — a duo costume, also known as the Snow Owls. Wondering *whooo* could be behind the singing bird getup? Keep reading for the best fan theories out there at the moment.
Who Are the Snow Owls on The Masked Singer?
Here's what we've gathered from the clues revealed:
- We haven't seen them "together in a while.”
- There's pearl featured on a table.
- The male owl is a known prankster and "wise guy."
- Street signs say "Magnolia" and "Quarrel Canyon"
- The Snow Owls may have a connection to royalty of some sort.
- The Snow Owls have bright blue eyes that match the jewels in their crowns.
- In a special video showing off this unique duo costume, one bird was labeled "Mr. Owl" and the other "Mrs. Owl."
Going off of the "Mr. Owl" and "Mrs. Owl" clue, many assume this means the birds are romantic partners in real life. With this in mind, let's make some guesses!
Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black
Fans think the Snow Owls sound exactly like this country music couple — and we have to say, they have a point! Plus, the pearl on the table could be a reference to the couple's daughter, who's named Pearl. The Quarrel Canyon clue would line up with the fact that the couple used to live in Laurel Canyon, and the Christmas house could be a shoutout to Clint's Christmas albums.
Nick and Vanessa Lachey
We all know that the former 98 Degrees frontman can sing ... but can Vanessa? These two have been popping up here and there, especially after hosting season 1 of the hit Netflix show Love is Blind. While waiting for season 2 to film, perhaps the duo decided to partake in The Masked Singer just for fun.
Carlos and Alexa PenaVega
Carlos may be better known as the singer in this married couple — he's a former member of the band Big Time Rush and now also a solo artist. That said, Alexa has pursued music as well.
