Introducing Joy Crow, one of two valedictorians of Edison Preparatory High School's class of 2024.
While excited about the next stage in life, Joy finds her senior year bittersweet, cherishing the memories and friendships from Edison. Most of her fondest memories revolve around the orchestra program, in which she plays viola. She even had the opportunity to travel to New York to watch the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
Joy plans to attend Abilene Christian University in Texas to study biology and cultivate her growing interest in genetics and genetic counseling.
Joy is also the treasurer of the Class Board, which organizes her class events.
Her advice to other seniors: "It's your senior year, so don't be afraid to get involved. Go to the events, do the senior activities. You're only a senior once."
