Our facilities

Kingham Hill School is the ‘best of both worlds’. Our modern facilities sit harmoniously alongside our more traditional buildings and we even have an outdoor classroom in our own, beautiful woods. Indoors or out, pupils will always find a place to be inspired; to learn, excel and realise their potential. Once lessons have finished, there is plenty of time for pupils to enjoy a wide range of sports and co-curricular activities.

Outside the classroom, there is a fully-equipped gym and a swimming pool (which parents can use for free) and a new sports centre equipped with a climbing wall and squash court. This sits alongside the floodlit astro (for hockey and football) and four tennis courts.

What was once the old sports hall is now the school’s theatre. Every year we put on a show and every week our Academy meets here to practise and rehearse. But it’s not just for performers; backstage roles are just as important and pupils have the chance to learn and perfect skills in a wide range of roles.

Creative pupils have access to a range of excellent facilities including a wonderful art room, photographic studio, superb design technology spaces and rooms for music production and practice.

The School Farm and Conserve Club provide our pupils with a range of experiences in stable management, animal husbandry and horticulture with pupils helping to provide some locally sourced produce for the kitchens.
