This is a beautiful motel. We stayed in the three room suite and it was just the right size for my husband and me, and our two teenagers. It is immaculately clean, the beds comfortable, with nice decor. The front desk staff were so helpful. The pool looks newly renovated and very clean, as well as the hot tub. I highly recommend the South Shore Inn and we will definitely be coming back.

We had to find a hotel the week before the reunion due to family illness. Since it was 5 minutes from the venue, it was great. The people at the desk were so nice. Breakfast was lite, but good. The room was clean, which was a high priority. If I had one thing to improve, it would be too add some additional or better mattress pads. The beds were pretty hard and a bit uncomfortable. The halls were quiet and all around, we are lucky to have found a nice, clean place. Thank you. We would stay there again. Reasonably priced compared to the other hotels!!

I am reluctant to provide this review because I would like to keep this place a secret to myself but I want the hotel to be recognized and rewarded for their hard work in making this an excellent place to stay. I loved all of their landscaping, there is obviously attention to the details and all of the flowers and plants were so lovely. The rooms were clean and functional, but we really had a blast in the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was good if you like sweets, with donuts and pancakes. I chose to have a healthy hard boiled egg and fruit. Kurt at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful, but so was everybody! The woman (and her two sisters) that cleans the rooms was amazing. She was there for my group of six's every need. I can't believe this place only…

A perfect meeting grounds! Very clean, this privately owned business will not disappoint. A short drive to Cedar Point and many other attractions in Sandusky. The complimentary coffee and breakfast is great!! Check this Shore out.

We have stayed the last two weekends at the South Shore Inn. There is nothing bad I can say about the place. They go the extra mile on everything. Even with COVID going on you can still go and get breakfast in the morning. We will definitely be going back again. Thanks!

Our family had a great experience at the South Shore Inn. Brittany at the front desk was fantastic. Sandy and Betty from the housekeeping staff were amazing as well - our rooms were all cleaned to perfection. Everyone at this property was friendly and helpful. Excellent experience.

The South Shore Inn was a great place to stay. It was very, very clean. The front desk staff were professional, helpful and really friendly. The price compared to the chain hotels was wonderful. The continental breakfast was tasty and plenty to get you started. Rooms had everything you needed and again were very, very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean room and convenient location. Only about a 10-minute drive to Cedar Point. The outdoor pool was very enjoyable. The hotel is in need of a bit of updating but everything worked and was clean. The staff was friendly. Decent value for the peak season. We would stay here again.

We stayed for two nights. Cedar point visit. Great pool, and hot tub. The room was very clean, beds really comfortable. Thin blanket on the bed. Bring your own if you like a cooler room. Highly recommend. Will visit again.

We stayed four nights while we visited Cedar Point. Sandy with housekeeping did a great job. She kept us well supplied with towels and a clean room. The property is very well kept. The breakfast was decent. Lots of variety. Very well stocked. Everyone there was very nice!
