Amanda Aday joins The Ricochet Effect to discuss women in the media, her various television and film roles, and her new podcast.  She is from Lexington, KY, and is an American actress, and member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) who is best known for her recurring role as Dora Mae Dreifuss on the first season of the HBO series Carnivàle.  On May 7, 2024 in the US and on June 11th in the UK, Amanda is guest starring on the TV Series FBI: Most Wanted (S:5; Ep:12).

Born in New York City, Aday is the daughter of singer and actor Meat Loaf and Leslie Aday, and half-sister of singer Pearl Aday. Aday's film roles include Crazy in AlabamaThe Mummy And The ArmadilloSouth Dakota: A Woman's Right To Choose and The Trials of Cate McCall. In addition to her work on Carnivàle, she has guest starred on the hit TV shows Boston PublicERPrivate Practice, and My Name Is Earl.  In 2020, Aday started a cooking channel on YouTube called "All Access Eats".  She is married to Lexington artist and musician David "Chill" Napier and together they are the owners of "Happy Spooning" and the producers of a brand new cooking show/ podcast "Cannalachia: Chords, Cuisine and Cannabis in the Heart of Appalachian Culture" that you can listen to at www.cannalachia.com

Dr. El-Amin is an author and editor who holds Doctorates from Northcentral University, University of the Cumberlands, Colorado Theological Seminary, and Union Institute and University. She has over 20 years of experience in management, occupational, and organizational development. Dr. El-Amin is co-founder of Project Ricochet, Inc, a thriving youth development organization. She has also served as the Multicultural Family Center, Executive Director for the City of Dubuque and as Chair of the Raleigh Human Relations Commission.
Renee is “working in concert” as a dynamic keynote speaker, organizational development consultant, executive producer and radio show/podcast producer and host. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Kentucky in Music Education and a Master’s Degree in Executive Human Resource Development from Xavier University. Renee is the Media and Marketing Manager for Project Ricochet and she serves on the WUKY DEIB Community Advisory Board. In 2023, she was named Nexstar Media Group's "Remarkable Woman of Central Kentucky", an honor recognizing her influence on public policy, social progress, and quality of life.
