In Monday’s recap, Nikki and Victor make a plan, Ashley goes to war with herself, and Summer opens up to Chance.

Victor’s order from the Acme company must have finally come in: He sets a new trap for Jordan, who so far as proven to be more elusive to him than the Road Runner ever was to Wile E. Coyote!

Since Victoria’s house went the ashes to ashes, dust to dust route, perhaps the big move that she and Claire make today will be into a new abode. The Newman heiress is, after all, rich enough to buy a whole city!

Little by little, everyone is noticing that something isn’t quite right and, in fact, is very wrong with Ashley. Now it’s Audra who will get a glimpse of a new side of her rival.

Tracey E. Bregman hails a real life saver, which leads her co-star Eric Braeden to say, “Take me to her.”

<p>Victor and Nikki are sure their 40th-anniversary party will lure Jordan to the Genoa City Athletic Club to be captured by their beefed-up security team, but it appears the madwoman has other plans. Taking advantage of the distraction the Newmans’ celebration provides, Jordan makes her move elsewhere. Here we see her entering Harrison’s bedroom, where he’s under the care of none other than Claire. All we’ll say is we do <em>not</em> like the look of that white cloth in her hand!</p>

<p>On display at the big 40th-anniversary bash will be an old photo of Nikki and Victor at their first wedding. Their love was right there in black and white!</p>

<p>What party would be complete without cupcakes?! How cute that the caterers stamped Victor and Nikki’s wedding pic on top for good measure.</p>

<p>Nikki shows off her cupcakes — one with the photo of her and Victor’s first wedding, and one of them in later years. So sweet!</p>

<p>Nikki feeds Victor a cupcake — a big bite ahead of a big bash!</p>

<p>Nikki and Victor pose in their finery, confident of their plan to rid themselves of Jordan once and for all as they party the night away.</p>

<p>Michael and Lauren are a sight for sore eyes in their party duds — these two always look amazing!</p>

<p>Nikki and Victor pose with their long-time friend, Lauren Fenmore at the big anniversary bash. Lauren’s had enough drama for a lifetime after her saga with Sheila Carter — maybe she gave them pointers on how to deal with a psychopath like Jorda!</p>

<p>Well, maybe not, but nonetheless, Nick will spend time hanging out with his most passionate and unpredictable ex at the get together.</p>

<p>Nick and Phyllis’ daughter, and Nikki and Victor’s granddaughter, Summer wouldn’t miss this party for the world. But we’ve a feeling she might come to wish she had stayed home.</p>

<p>Making the party all the more fun, Phyllis and Diane run into each other and pause for a good snark session. We have to wonder if they’re remembering what happened at the last gala Nikki and Victor threw in the jazz lounge!</p>

<p>Adam may not be feeling the party, what with Connor away at the treatment facility in Maryland, but Sally is by his side and that makes all the difference. Will she end up talking business with the Mustache at some point?</p>

<p>Lauren gives Diane a steely look as Michael, oblivious, watches Nikki and Victor share a romantic slow dance.</p>

<p>We can just hear Victor crooning, “My Baby” in Nikki’s ear as they take to the dance floor. What an incredible love story they share.</p>

<p>We can’t help but think it looks as though Nick is calling Phyllis out for something in this moment. Or is she trying to talk him into buying Omegasphere from Lily?</p>

<p>This interaction between Jack and Nikki kinda looks tense. We know she’s back on the sauce — did Ol’ Smilin’ catch her taking a nip behind one of those big red curtains? Better check that super cute silver clutch!</p>

<p>Summer and Phyllis are both giving Nick quite the look. Maybe he just told another one of his bad dad jokes?!</p>

<p>Whatever is happening on this phone call, it doesn’t look like Summer is very happy about it. In fact, she looks downright upset. Here we go…</p>

<p>In a weird and unforeseen twist, panic appears to have followed Jack and Diane home from the anniversary bash and right into their home. Could thir shocked expressions have anything to do with the call Summer got in the previous slide?!</p>

<p>Abby, daughter of Victor and Ashley Abbott, pulls her man, Devon, close as they pose in their finery ahead of the gala anniversary celebration.</p>

<p>Working that baby blue and silver combo, Abby is a vision with her upswept ‘do and lace-up stilettos.</p>

<p>Despite the upsetting developments with his son, Connor, Adam will suit up in honor of his dad and Nikki and attend the party.</p>

<p>Adam will have the support of his gal pal, Sally, at the event. While she’s not a favorite of Victor’s, her boyfriend hopes to change all of that by bringing her business under the Newman umbrella and proving her talent to his dad.</p>

<p>There are hair don’ts and hairdos — and this one is a <em>do</em> for sure. Sally shows off a fun style she put together for Victor and Nikki’s 40th. We love her edgy fashion sense!</p>

<p>Setting aside their considerable differences, Victor’s kids say, “Cheese” for the camera at the big anniversary soiree.</p>

<p>We’re sure Summer had a say in the choice of Chance’s tux, and we have to give her credit — he’s lookin fiiiiine!!</p>

<p>Kyle’s been on a rough road this past year, but he’s all smiles in the official photos for Nikki and Victor’s anniversary bash.</p>

<p>Kyle took time out, and set aside his differences with his mother, to pose with the parental units. A fine-looking bunch of Abbotts indeed!</p>

<p>Still going strong despite the odds against them, Diane and Jack cozy up for a few romantic snaps.</p>

<p>Victor’s favorite fixer, his attorney Michael Baldwin, wouldn’t miss the big event — or the drama that’s certain to ensue. Will he regret having helped get Claire released early</p>

<p>Talented, intelligent, beautiful, fun, <em>and</em> photogenic — Michael and Lauren show us once again why they are couples goals!</p>

<p>No sign of Cole in the photo shoot, but that come hither look Victoria’s giving is sure to have him popping up in no time!</p>
