The six degrees of Hollywood run deep. Just when you thought you had a handle on who got dumped and later remarried, you get gobsmacked with another celebrity connection you never knew existed.

Such might be the case with Felicity Blunt, a 40-year-old English bibliophile who’s been married to actor Stanley Tucci, 60, since 2012, but has held on to her very familiar last name. To answer your question, yes, she is indeed the older sister of actress Emily Blunt.

Since the spring of 2020, Tucci and Blunt have let audiences into their London abode with endearing—and informative—cooking videos on Instagram. According to the videos, which are filmed by Blunt, the Supernova star is keeping busy by making negronis, gnocchi, holiday cocktails, and more. With his new culinary travel show Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy, airing on CNN, the actor is further sharing his love for food with audiences.

Here's what you need to know about this delightful pair, who once wrote a cookbook together.

Felicity Blunt is a literary agent based in London.

Since 2005, Blunt has worked as a literary agent at London talent agency Curtis Brown. Per her Curtis Brown bio, she first trained as a barrister before moving into publishing.

“My fiction tastes are broad but are unified by my desire to represent unique stories and smart voices,” Blunt wrote in her bio. “I love thrillers, suspense crime, historical and literary fiction. I’m open to outstanding YA or futuristic fiction or that which imagines alternative histories. What I want is to feel passionate about the narrative and believe absolutely in the world an author has crafted.”

Her fiction client list includes Rosamund Lupton, Jennifer Egan, and the estate of Daphne du Maurier. But she represents nonfiction authors too, most of whom are food writers including Anna Jones and Frances Quinn.

And she loves Veronica Mars just as much as you do.

All it took was one tweet to reveal the literary agent’s affinity for the investigative series starring a snarky Kristen Bell. She even took to Twitter for tips on how to stream season 4, asking a fellow editor who’s on maternity leave for a little 411.

Talk about ripped right out of the pages of a rom-com! Tucci, who starred with Emily in The Devil Wears Prada and remained friends with her, met Felicity at Emily’s 2010 wedding to Office alum John Krasinski. The shindig was held at the George Clooney’s house in Lake Cuomo, Italy. Or shall we say the most magical place on earth? See random picture below to get a sense.

She and Tucci married quietly in 2012.

After Tucci proposed a year later during a trip to Berlin, the couple wed in a private ceremony in 2012. Following the low-key nuptials, the couple celebrated their marriage with a star-studded belated affair in London, where sister Emily was a bridesmaid, Steve Buscemi was the best man, and Oliver Platt was a groomsman. Guests included Tucci's Supernova co-star, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep, and Julianne Moore.

Tucci has admitted that he “panicked” after proposing to Felicity.

Tucci’s first wife, Kathryn “Kate” Tucci, with whom he had three children, died from breast cancer in 2009. Tucci reflected on her death during an appearance on CBS This Morning in 2021. “You never stop grieving. You never stop grieving,” Tucci told correspondent Holly Williams. “And it’s still hard after 11 years, it’s still hard, and it always will be hard. But you can’t let it—and she would never want any of us to—to wallow in that grief and let it take over our lives. She would never want that. She wasn’t like that."

Still, Tucci admitted that his initial feelings after proposing to his second wife were those of guilt. “I panicked instantly afterwards," he told U.K. paper The Times. “It was very hard to go on vacations at first, really hard to go with Felicity someplace. I felt guilty. It’s horrible.”

Tucci added that the pain was emphasized because he met Felicity relatively soon after Kate’s death. “There are photographs around at home. Not that many, but I would have difficulty,” he told The Times. “And especially when we first met, it was only two years after Kate died.”

According to ABC News, Tucci left New York City, where he lived with Kate, for a “fresh start” across the pond in Felicity’s hometown of London. In 2014, the married couple wrote a cookbook together, The Tucci Table.

The couple welcomed their second child in 2018.

The pair welcomed their first daughter, Emilia Giovanna, on April 19, 2018, a rep confirmed to Entertainment Tonight at the time. The couple also share a son, Matteo, who is now 5 years old. Matteo and Emilia join Tucci’s three previous children with Kate: Camilla, 18, and twins Nicolo and Isabel, 20.

Tucci loves making his wife Negronis, as this video shows.

On April 20, 2020, Tucci uploaded a simple, yet alluring, video of him making a Negroni cocktail for his wife—and the internet's enthusiastic reaction turned Tucci into a veritable internet star, inspiring write-ups in The Guardian, The Atlantic, and beyond.

Since the viral success of the first video, Blunt has continued to film Tucci's culinary adventures in their marvelous kitchen. You may not be able to live with Tucci—but you can cook marinara sauce with his recipe.

For now, that'll have to do.
