The Piper Tiny House is an off-grid piece of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Enjoy the comforts of home in a tiny, eco-friendly accommodation located on 137 acres of nature. This experience is suitable for anyone that loves to camp, but wants to sleep in a comfy bed, and have a solid roof over their heads. The tiny house is under 400 square feet but has all the amenities for a cozy getaway. All you need is an overnight bag and some groceries! Keep reading to learn more!

The space
The tiny house measures 24 ft. by 8.6 ft. and is just under 400 square feet. This tiny space has a full kitchen, fridge and freezer, sleeping accommodations for 4 guests, a breakfast bar, a two burner propane stove, seating area, which duals as a living and dining space (and converts to a bedroom for night time), and a full size bathroom with a composting toilet and off-grid shower solution.

The main floor bed is a double sized Murphy bed located on the dining wall. The second double sized bed is located in the loft area.

The Tiny House is 100% OFF GRID & heated with a forced air furnace. Water is manually brought in for guests to use. We do not have a water heater, therefore dish washing and shower water must be manually heated over the stove by guests. Just like camping!

The Piper Tiny House is equipped with almost everything you need to have a very comfortable, relaxing "glamping" experience.

The outdoor space has a fire pit, 2 Adirondack chairs & an outdoor 2 seater sofa. Firewood is located in the small wooden shed next to the tiny house.

Fishing, kayaking and canoeing are permitted on site however, due to limited water access at this site, launching will need to be on the other side of the property. (Host can show you where, on arrival)
We do not rent these at this time, guests should bring their own equipment.

The Tiny house is within walking distance from the hiking trails on the property
(including nearby access to the Speyside Side Trail (Bruce Trail).

Guests may be visited by many wood creatures such as rabbits, squirrels, lots of birds, deer, frogs, fireflies, turtles etc...

This experience is suitable for anyone that loves to camp, but wants to sleep in a comfy bed, and have a solid roof over their heads.

Cell service is excellent at this location for those on the Rogers network.

Please use the address provided in the notes section of the check-in instructions. Do not use the listing address in your GPS to get to the tiny house.

The Piper Tiny House is located close to the road. Parking in near the tiny house, located just steps away from the house. Guests will have to walk up and carry their bags up a 20 meters uphill to the house.

The tiny house has a self-check in system. Guest will be given instructions on how to enter the tiny house 24 hours prior to check in. Additional instructions including GPS directions are shared the morning of your check in.

Guest will have access to hiking trails located on the property.

A lot of love and plenty of hard work from the owner (Zoey), friends and family have gone into this tiny home project. We all sincerely hope you enjoy your stay.

Other things to note
The tiny house is 100% off grid, equipped with solar generated power, a composting toilet and an off grid shower solution. Guests are encouraged to be mindful of their water and power consumption during their stay. The solar system generates enough power for a few outlets to charge your phone, laptop or iPad. Guests should be aware It is common to lose power now and again, especially on cloudy days and during winter stays.

We do not have WIFI.

Guests booking this property should think of this experience as glorified camping.

The Tiny House is located near the water, therefore at certain times of the summer, mosquitoes can be a bit annoying to some. We provide bug repellent, but you may want to plan to bring your own.

You are welcome to bring a canoe, or kayak to enjoy the pond.

Fishing is permitted.

You cannot swim in the pond, we have snapping turtles.

Guests are welcome to visit our hobby farm with notice given before visiting. We have miniature horses, a goat, roosters, and lots of chickens.

Unfortunately, we do not allow outside firewood.
Firewood is available for sale for $10.00 per bag

FARM FRESH EGGS
We sell Farm Fresh eggs for $3.00 for half a dozen, $6.00 per dozen

ARCHERY & AXE THROWING
Book archery. Fee includes 1 bow, 12 arrows, and 1 target. $20.00 / day
