- SomebodyFlyAssTT31 contributionsGreat experienceThis was very informative and we loved browsing through the museum. The museum is roughly 3 or 4 floors (I can’t remember) but, it was well worth it. There is also several dior stores on the block, we also visited the baby store. Early arrival suggested.Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten May 28, 2023
- Mama23greatkidsOrangeville, Canada187 contributionsBeautiful Haute Couture and the stories that created the clothesWe arrived at the Gallery without a pre booked ticket. The gallery, although the website states that it opens at 11, does not allow non ticket holders to purchase tickets to 11:30. No problem for us we were just happy to get in. The rooms are beautifully themed and decorated and we enjoyed our tour. The tour took approx 45-60 minutes to go through the various rooms. So glad we were able to squish it into our tripVisited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 7, 2023
- nolilds6 contributionsWordlessIncredible experience! All halls are so to the detail, so amazing, so impressive... all halls are a wow from beginning to end. There is one particular hall that literally made my daughter cry with emotion and I thank you for that. She knew every single detail so it was like heaven for her. So overwhelming. So delicate. So beautiful. So perfect. So thankful we visited you!Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 17, 2023
- Janice WallAtlanta, Georgia325 contributionsClassic and ClassyWhat a fabulously curated exhibit. The history of this fashion house was laid out so beautifully and the displays and lighting were magical. It’s one of those exhibits that had so much to absorb that I could do it again. Advance tickets are highly recommendedVisited June 2023Traveled soloWritten June 18, 2023
- Mary DCalgary, Canada78 contributionsA must visit for anyone interested in FashionWe arrived an hour before our reserved time. However, they were kind enough to allow us in with an earlier group. The displays are so well done, and the information is well presented and allows you to proceed in a smooth flow throughout the building. The timeless designs had us constantly guessing as to the years they first appeared. Information on Dior's life and how brief a time he actually led the house of Dior was interesting, looking back to those who followed him.Visited May 2023Traveled with friendsWritten June 26, 2023
- anikoPrincetonusaPrinceton, New Jersey86 contributionsStunning experienceWe had left it too late to book tickets but arriving at 10.30 meant we were in by about 11.20. It was worth the wait to see the stunning gowns and the final visual art display. As soon as we arrived we refreshed at the small cafe on the second floor. Great experienceVisited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 28, 2023
- ukgirl1980Holmfirth, United Kingdom139 contributionsStunning gallery, well worth a visitThis was the absolute highlight of a trip to Paris with my teenage daughter. Absolutely stunning gallery and the information was so interesting to read about Dior’s creative journey. To see some of these pieces in the flesh was a very special experience, and the way it is all presented is truly spectacular. Book tickets in advance via their website to avoid having to queue. Also it’s in a very nice area surrounded by the most exclusive designer shops so you can go and do a bit of (window) shopping too. Within easy walking distance of Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee.Visited July 2023Traveled with familyWritten July 26, 2023
- Simon Downs15 contributionsWow wow wowThis place is a must if you are in Paris. If you’re into fashion this will be a magical experience for you. If you’re not into fashion it will still amaze and interest you. Pre book the tickets to make sure you get in around the time you booked. Saves the queuing. You will not be disappointed by this visit. The people management in here is so professional.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 31, 2023
- Jennifer M70 contributionsOne of my favorite places we visited in ParisDefinitely one of my favorite places we visited in Paris. You need to pre-book your tickets well in advance. We booked the earliest (11:00am ticket), got there at 10:30 and there was already a long line. It wasn’t clear initially that there were 2 lines (one for those with pre-booked tickets and one for those without). Thankfully, the long line was for those without tickets and we were first in line for pre-booked tickets. We almost waited in the long line because we didn’t know and a lot of people in line didn’t speak English so when we asked they didn’t understand. So keep that in mind if you have a pre booked ticket. Get in the right line :) It’s probably shorter. Highly recommend. Museum was beautiful. Coffee from cafe was good. Gift shop a few stores down was lovely.Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten September 4, 2023
- Richard QLeeds, United Kingdom251 contributionsA trip to Dior GalleryExquisite designs over the years by Christian Dior. It was worth going with my family. It was chosen by my 13 year old daughter and we learnt a lot there. Please book your ticket in advance to avoid the queue. You might find two sets of queue, one for ticket holder, normally the short one and the other for non ticket holders.Visited February 2023Traveled with familyWritten September 5, 2023

I’m not a person who would say I had a great interest in fashion and honestly probably would not of visited if my girlfriend hadn’t wanted to but I had a great trip and would recommend this museum.
The crowds are brilliantly managed and you never feel crowded. We pre booked tickets but I think there was another queue for people paying on the day.
The museum design was beautiful as you would expect in a museum based on fashion the whole place was aesthetically pleasing. There are surprises around every corner such as a live demonstration of a bag being made.
All in all this was well worth the visit, my girlfriend absolutely loved it and I also enjoyed my time here immensely.

I am not a fashionista but even I can appreciate the beauty and brilliance behind the story and clothing of Dior. We arrived from the US on a Friday. We did not have a ticket so waited in line for approximately 1/2 hour to purchase our 12euro ticket. Just go it is amazing and the exhibit is soothing. Don’t miss it! So glad we went.

Galerie Dior is absolutely stunning three-story museum. Your visit starts from the third floor by taking the elevator, and then as you look around you go down. Already unusual! Smart to book in advance to avoid a long queue. The day when we visited the museum, it was raining and people were standing outside at the ticket office without a canopy. We proudly passed by with pre-purchased tickets online. The Galerie is open every day from 11 am to 7 pm, except Tuesday. Metro station: Franklin D.Rooselelt + 5 minutes walk.
Multiple sources of inspiration in the creations of Dior presented here: from the splendor of gardens to the sumptuousness of balls, the beauty of the "petite mains" gestures, and artistic affinities, With each space evoking one of the many facets of the priceless heritage that of Dior has preciously preserved since its founding and continues to enrich. Thanks to the master for his masterpieces, as well as to the creators of the museum, where Dior's collections from different periods of his life are collected under one roof, starting from the earliest, as they say, starting with "a pen test". You won't regret if you visit, this is unique museum.

Such an amazing experience at this wonderful museum - highly recommended but buy tickets online first. There was quite a queue for people with no tickets but we skipped that line and only had to wait a few minutes with our timed entry tickets.
Once in, you take the lift to the third floor where the exhibition starts and then meander down through a number of galleries displaying the most wonderful garments dating back to the beginnings of the House of Dior until the present day.
It takes about 90 minutes to see the whole exhibition and then exit through the cafe - just keep on walking, it is overpriced and quite spoiled our experience - but don’t miss the staircase on the way out, with a fascinating collection of accessories in a rainbow of colour.

Poor customer service. You should be able to change your ticket if on on immediate discovery you can see it’s the wrong date. Tbf I made a mistake booking the of wrong week. On immediate discovery I contacted the gallery as the date I thought I had booked was not the same as the email reservation. They refused to change the reservation. Then said they would sort it out on the day. We arrived and were sent to the ticket queue after saying about the problem with the ticket. Waiting for an hour then told we could not use it and sent to the queue to get a ticket which is. A 2 hour wait. Absolutely no compromise and a shortened wait. Staff rude. One member who was British tried to help. But was over ruled. What money grabbers, all over galleries and museums you can change your ticket. It’s should part of good customer service. It don’t ruin our day but the 3 hour wait was not worth it.

Visited with family on a girls’ trip - included teen and 10 year old - and could not have been more impressed. The dresses and artefacts are beautifully curated and close enough to get a perfect view of the stunningly made items.
Book in advance (not bad value for Paris, 12€ for adult, 8€ for teen and younger children go free); you’ll probably still need to queue but not for long.
Once inside, you’re immersed in a glamorous world of haute couture and style. Couldn’t rate higher.

A wonderful collection from the brand archives giving you the story of Christian Dior and his short 10 years at his eponymous brand, as well as the 6 designers that followed. There are no guided tours so it can be helpful to go with an experienced guide who knows the history. The Galerie is a smaller version of the original exhibition staged at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in 2017 and was purpose built in a years long renovation. The displays change regularly and are featured in groupings that have a theme to them. The charming floral garden speaks to Dior’s obsession with flowers, the magical ballroom with its stunning gowns, masks, and glittery projections represent his love of a masquerade ball, and the staircase highlights the miniatures and ephemera using a colour blocked display the height of the three story spiral staircase. Make sure you buy a ticket in advance and leave yourself enough time to take some photos of the stairs! Check out @fxtparis on Instagram for more on Paris fashion tours!

Hi, the website says that there's a discounted rate for individuals below 26 years old. Just wanna check, is this just for EU citizens or international?

In English, I had my hotel concierge buy the tickets about 1 month in advance. Maybe around $15.00 USD. Best exhibit. You need about 1 1/2 hours

Actually, I had my concierge buy them for me. I think we had them at least two months in advance… and they cost less in going thru my concierge snd no standing in line. What a show!!!!

Do you have to make a reservation for the patisserie cafe if you have a reservation to tour the gallery? Is there even a way to reserve a table?

No, they don’t take reservations. The cafe is very simple and more like a walk-in after the exhibits.
How long should we plan to be at Galerie Dior?

minimum one hour if you do not partake on tea and desserts at the lovely cafe at the end of the tour. the exhibits are very well curated with plentiful interesting info so if you like to read, then allow at least two hours. we spent the whole morning there.
