Geeta Basra's First Interview after son's birth: I'd decided on his name while I was carrying our daughter - Exclusive

Geeta Basra is back home after delivering her second child- a son. Harbhajan Singh is dancing in the aisles. A few minutes ago, she spoke exclusively to ETimes.
Excerpts from the conversation:
Congratulations!
Thank you so much! We are really very happy, touch wood!
Did you want a daughter or son, this time?
Just a healthy child. If it would have been a daughter again, I would have got another best friend.It's a son and now Harbhajan has got a best friend. But yes, I must tell you that I had an intuition that I'll get a son while I was carrying Hinaya.
Have you completed your shopping- clothes, toys?
Yes. Kapdon mein toh problem nahin hota, unisex stuff easily mil jaata hai and it's pretty standard.
Normal or Cesarean?
Normal. But it was a very nice experience. I am very thankful for the set of doctors and their staff who attended to me. It was a bit tough at the time of my Hinaya (first child, daughter), though.
Have Harbhajan and you thought of a name for the newborn?
Yes, and Harbhajan and I are going to announce it in a day or two. It's the name I had thought of when I was carrying Hinaya five years ago.
Does it start with H or G?
Neither (laughs).
What do you call him for now?
I call him Chottu and Harbhajan calls him Shera.
Were your parents around?
Nope, my mom wanted to fly down from London but had to cancel the tickets at the last minute owing to COVID. Harbhajan's sister has been staying with us since our second baby arrived in this world and she's of great help.
Was Harbhajan in the labour room?
Oh yes, right from the word 'Go'. He was taking pictures. He loves kids. He has played a lot with Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar's kids.
Did he do a bhangra?
(Laughs) Not really. But yes, he was on cloud nine immediately after seeing the baby. Since then, he has been so joyous that it is to be seen to be believed.
What's Hinaya's reaction?
Oh, she's constantly looking at her brother as if it's a toy and has become very responsible.
I'm sure Harbhajan would want his son to be a cricketer. Bhajji (as Harbhajan is fondly called) bowled so marvellously for India...
Who's waking up at night to change the nappies?
Largely Harbhajan. Before I can even tell him, he's standing right next to our son.
Get ready to see your husband and son playing cricket in the backyard...
