Hotmail inbox messages disappeared, how can I restore? .

Sometimes, your older messages may be permanently deleted from the Deleted Items folder or the Archive folder. However, you may still be able to recover them by using this feature in Hotmail. This feature can restore messages that were deleted within the last 30 days. To use this feature, follow these steps: - Go to the Deleted Items folder or the Archive folder. - Click on the Recover deleted items link at the top of the page. - Select the messages that you want to recover and then click on Recover. - Click on OK. - Check your email settings and rules. I have done all that. Everything was fine and none od my emails were there. Never has occurred before and had a few that were olderthan 3 years. I have not changed my settings so they are still the same.

Very frustrating for sure as some are irreplaceable.

While I am not a tech expert, I do know enough to know that this event that happened to me on the 8th of August happened after 1:00 pm. None of my other folders or emails were effected. Something happened in the infrastructure, a patch or update and it was in Idaho. Please continue to help me figure out what happened to me and hopefully help to retrieve those messages.
