FOX College Football Analysts: Bob Stoops, Brady Quinn, Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt headline Big Noon shows

Who are the FOX college football analysts for the 2021 season? Here's a look at the program schedule for FOX Sports this year.

College football is already entering Week 2 of the 2021 season. With every major sports network covering the sport, who are the FOX college football analysts this year? Here are the on-air rosters for the iconic Big Noon Kickoff and Big Noon Saturday shows.

Who are the FOX college football analysts in 2021?

The world is a whole lot brighter with college football on our TVs. Athletes are moving up and down draft boards. Coaches are warming up their seats while others are proving to be worth every penny. Fans are creating new memes and memories. What isn’t there to love?

FOX joined the festivities in 2019 with the launch of their Big Noon Kickoff and Big Noon Saturday programs.

The Big Noon Kickoff pregame show primes viewers for the most significant matchup every Saturday, beginning at 10 AM ET. Host Rob Stone is joined by college football legends and FOX analysts Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, and Bob Stoops for the two-hour program.

The show leads right into Big Noon Saturday, FOX College Football’s most anticipated bout of the weekend. And as the name implies, FOX’s coverage kicks off at noon (12 PM ET) every Saturday of the regular season. The broadcast crew includes play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson, analyst Joel Klatt, and reporter Jenny Taft.

Big Noon Kickoff

The Big Noon Kickoff crew will be on-site for the first four weeks of FOX Sports’ college football season, traveling to stadiums and tailgates across the country.

Bush and Leinart formed one of the deadliest backfields in the history of college football while at USC. Leinart hoisted the Heisman Trophy in 2004, while Bush had his 2005 award revoked due to receiving improper benefits that violated NCAA rules. The two led the Trojans to back-to-back AP National Championships from 2003-2004.

Quinn enjoyed an illustrious career as the Notre Dame QB, parlaying his play into a first-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. Stoops is the legendary former head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners. He led the program to a 190-98 record and the 2000 BCS National Championship in his 18-year tenure. Urban Meyer was on the show before taking the Jacksonville Jaguars’ head coaching job, opening the door for Stoops.

In addition to the star-studded cast, Clay Travis will make appearances as a special correspondent. He will interview players, coaches, and fans from the biggest contests in the south each week. Emmanuel Acho, co-host of FS1’s Speak For Yourself, and Chris Petersen, former University of Washington head coach, will also contribute to FOX College Football’s studio coverage.

Lastly, CFB insider Bruce Feldman appears in the studio and reports from the sidelines during the year. He is, of course, the author of the always entertaining “Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List.”

Big Noon Saturday

Johnson, Klatt, and Taft are entering their fifth consecutive year covering FOX’s most enticing college football matchups. It will be their third year together on Big Noon Saturday, which began on August 31, 2019, as Florida Atlantic visited Ohio State.

The trio opened the 2021 season on Thursday, September 2, when Ohio State hosted Minnesota in a thrilling Week 1 skirmish. Johnson and Co. then traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, to cover the Penn State vs. Wisconsin dual on September 4.

Next up for the FOX college football analysts and shows will be Oregon at Ohio State at 12 PM ET on Saturday, September 11.

Furthermore, FOX will roll out a host of combinations on game days to break down the action live. Groupings include the following:

  • Play-by-play announcer Joe Davis with analyst Brock Huard
  • Eric Collins with Devin Gardner
  • Aaron Goldsmith with Mark Helfrich
  • Cory Provus with Robert Smith
  • Alex Faust with Petros Papadakis
