On 23 years of Ishq, Juhi Chawla reveals her favourite scene with Aamir, Ajay

The 1997 romantic-comedy drama, Ishq, completed 23 years on November 28. The film starred Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla and Kajol in an ensemble cast. The film is considered iconic and is one of the biggest hits of Juhi’s career. So, celebrating its 23rd anniversary, the actress revealed one of her favourite scenes from the film in a special Instagram post.
WHICH IS JUHI CHAWLA’S FAVOURITE SCENE FROM ISHQ?
Juhi Chawla shared a hilarious clip of her favourite scene from Ishq. In the particular scene, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn’s jeep rams into Juhi Chawla’s car. Juhi then falls, breaking the eggs of a street vendor. What follows is a heated argument between Juhi and Aamir, which unfolds in a funny manner.
Aamir pays the vendor for loss incurred and gives Juhi double the amount of money she demanded for breaking her headlight. When she inquires about the same, he breaks the other headlight as well. A furious Juhi then funnily takes revenge.
HOW DID JUHI CHAWLA CELEBRATE 23 YEARS OF ISHQ?
Besides sharing her favourite scene from the film, she asked her fans to share their favourite memories as well. She wrote, “23 years of Ishq. One of my favourite scenes. Would love to hear from you...your favourite memory? @_aamirkhan @ajaydevgn @kajol #23YearsOfIshq (sic).”
Directed by Indra Kumar, Ishq also featured Dalip Tahil, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Johnny Lever and Mohan Joshi in supporting roles. It was the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of 1997.
WHAT’S ON THE WORK FRONT?
Juhi Chawla’s recent projects include Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. She was roped in to star in Sharmaji Namkeen alongside Rishi Kapoor. Sadly, the shooting of the film couldn't be completed due to the sad demise of Rishi Kapoor on April 30. The makers are currently working on finishing the project.
