Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900) was a German philosopher and cultural critic who published intensively in the 1870s and 1880s. He is famous for uncompromising criticisms of traditional European morality and religion, as well as of conventional philosophical ideas and social and political pieties associated with modernity. - Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

A different Nietzsche podcast

Original Content

A few years ago my buddy and I kind of informally started talking through an attempt to make some sense of modern issues and get to truly underlying philosophical causes that typically get glossed right over in favor of more superficial (and contrived) narratives. My own reading of Nietzsche, as well the great work done by Keegan on his own podcast, were hugely instrumental. So we recently decided to start our own podcast and talk through some of this stuff to hopefully help other people. It's not another analysis of Nietzsche's ideas podcast, nor is it the dreaded "what would Nietzsche do" or "what would Nietzsche think about ____" - but rather what we're trying to do is take a Nietzsche style approach, as well view things through the lens of some overarching concepts like will to power, in order to do very specific (rather than just broad philosophical) talk on things like current issues and modern society. I think it's a somewhat unique take on Nietzsche related podcasting, so figured it might be of interest here.
