This meetup is for anyone who likes playing board games or card games. Any type of games. Strategy, cooperative, active, classic, teams or individuals.
Do you like games but have nobody really to play with? Join us! We will get together in game stores and people's houses and just have game nights together. Whether you are single or couples, you are welcome.
Looking for members willing to host game nights as well as attend. If you are looking for new friends who have the same interests as you, join us!
Code of Conduct
- Gamers come from all walks of life and lifestyles. We expect everyone to treat others with respect and understanding. This group is all about creating a welcoming environment. Discrimination, bullying, offensive images, violence, threatening behavior and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
- Clean up after yourself and keep any gaming space clean for all.
- Destroy the stereotype of gamers being part of the unwashed masses.
- Food and beverages are typically allowed but please check with whoever's games is being played that they're okay with either food or beverages around their game.
- Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. All posts should be relevant to this group.
- Avoid last minute cancellations and no shows to events where there's a wait list (typically non-game store events).

Running a Meetup group currently costs $197.99 per year! If you enjoy this group and the events, please consider donating, even a small amount to help support the group!
Donations can be made directly to Ben either in person or contacting him for PayPal or Venmo link, or by making a donation directly through Meetup, through the Pledge link (note that Pledge does take a percentage so donating through other means is preferred). Any excess donations made during the year will be turned into delicious treats, beverages and/or BBQ goodness for the group to enjoy!

There's typically multiple copies of the game brought so we can accommodate 2 groups (7 - 17 1/2ish people per game). Games can take anywhere from half hour to an hour and a half. The game is pretty flexible with allowing late arrivals to join a game in progress, but please try to be on time! Rules will be taught for new peoples.
## About
Blood on the Clocktower is a recently released and exciting social deduction game similar to Werewolf and Mafia. BotC is the most innovative take on the formula in years and has rushed to the forefront of the genre.
BotC builds on its predecessors by giving everyone a unique role and ability. There is no player elimination and the focus is on solving the puzzle with the limited, and sometimes incorrect, information you learn night to night. The townsfolk and their less useful outsiders do not know who is evil but need to find and execute the Demon before time runs out. The Demon and their evil minions will work in the shadows trying to buy enough time for the Demon to kill everyone and claim victory over good.
This group (Blood on the Clocktower - Madison WI Facebook group) is for fans of Blood on the Clocktower in and near Madison, Wisconsin. This group will be primarily to organize live games now that the game has officially been released and is available in stores. Discussion of the game and event summaries are also welcome!

Blood on the Clocktower is all about creating a welcoming environment for a game that has classically been pretty cutthroat. While deception is in the name, the backstabbing ends when the game does. Treat everyone with respect and kindness!2. No Hate Speech or Bullying
Blood on the Clocktower is an inclusive game meant for people of all kinds. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.3. No Promotions or Spam
Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. Posts should be relevant to either Blood on the Clocktower or the ongoing of this group. Advertisements or For Sale posts are not allowed.4. Avoid Last Minute Cancellations
Blood on the Clocktower is a game for between 7 and up to 20 people! The game really shines as it gets into the 10+ people range so be considerate of the folks setting aside time to share in this fun activity and do not make a habit of no showing. This doesn't apply to last minute additions, the more the merrier! BotC also has "Travelers" for folks that arrive late or need to leave early.
