Schoedinger Northwest
Paul “Pete” Warnick passed away on March 29th, 2022. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jean Warnick, his children Cindy Lynch and Chris Warnick, their spouses Neil Lynch and Laura Plotts, and his grandchildren Emily and Bobby Lynch, who were his pride and joy.
Paul was a graduate of St. Charles Preparatory School and earned a BA in political science from The Ohio State University in 1962, where he was an active member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He had a 35-year career in the unemployment insurance industry, working at R.E. Harrington, GatesMcDonald, and the Frank Gates Service Company, before retiring in 2000 to pursue his interests in golf, travel, and the OSU Buckeyes—and support his grandchildren’s athletic and artistic endeavors.
Among his proudest accomplishments was his work as a suicide prevention hotline volunteer at North Central Mental Health Services, where he was honored in 2019 for over 1500 hours of dedicated and caring service.
He will be missed and has been loved by many.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Central Mental Health Services, 1301 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43201, Suicide Prevention Services.
Burial services will be private, and a celebration of his life will take place at a future date.
