What a great attachment lift

I got this lift because I had to as I couldnt hook up to anything without it but have I been happy I got this thing. I bought a gannon drag to do my driveway and have to turn around in short areas and lift the 150 lb attachment. The lift only takes about 10 pounds of push to lift and lock it in place unlike my front blade that you have to hold down the lever. Really, really built solid and I'm really really glad I bought it.
Instructions were intimidating at first but just do the steps and they work pefectly except they show the lift handle revesed thoughout the booklet. Don't pass this one because of the cheap price 'cause it aint cheap china crap.

Reamed out the two holes that are used to hold the metal shield and used supplied bolts, lock washers and nuts to mount to JD. Did not need any of the supplied mounting brackets.

I wasted time trying to figure out how to use the brackets. Then I just decided to ignore the instructions and make it work.

some fabrication to get to work on my Husquvarna xs354

The "L" shaped arm/bracket used to lift the attachment was too long. I had to shorten it and drill new holes in it to get my box scraper attachment to lift off the ground. after some installation fabrication it works OK. The box scraper I am using is pretty heavy and it is difficult and awkward to have to reach far back to grab the handle and takes a lot of effort to pull the handle forward to raise the box scraper attachment.

You had better make sure this thing was made for your tractor. I didn't (thus 3 stars) and ended up having to do some hillbilly engineering on it. A couple holes in my tractor, and one in the devise and a little fabrication and it's seems to work. If it works half as hard as I did to attach it I'll be happy with the results.

Disliked the fact that the instructions show the lever stop shown on the left side and actual need for it is on the right side. I will have to drill a hole on the right bracket to install lever stop hardware.
