90% Tomatometer 20 Reviews 60% Audience Score Fewer than 50 Ratings Tia and Tamera are twins who were separated at birth, with each being adopted by a different parent. One day, the teens have a chance encounter while shopping at a clothing store in the mall. After the families meet, Tamera's adoptive father reluctantly allows Tia and her mother to move into his home so the girls can be together. But just because they're twins doesn't mean Tia and Tamera are identical in any way other than looks -- Tia is intelligent and from inner-city Detroit while Tamera is the boy-crazy twin from the suburbs. Critics Consensus

Elevating a familiar formula with irrepressible charm, Sister, Sister effectively leverages the Mowry twins' identical chemistry with snappy assistance from Jackée Harry and Tim Reid.

Ed Bark Dallas Morning News Roger is cute as a button, but the girls probably will make enough fans to keep him from stealing the show. Feb 8, 2024 Full Review Jonathan Storm Philadelphia Inquirer [Jackee Harry] coaxes laughs from this obvious material. Perhaps that's because the dad, Tim Reid, makes such a fine frosty foil. Everything gets on his nerves, in a sweet and silly sort of way. Feb 8, 2024 Full Review Ken Parish Perkins Chicago Tribune Although everything about the new sitcom Sister, Sister is strikingly familiar -- its stars, its premise, its jokes -- there's no denying the cute factor. Feb 8, 2024 Full Review Robert Bianco Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Formulaic and undemanding as it is, it's also rather sweet and pleasant, thanks to winning performances from identical twins Tamera and Tia Mowry. Feb 8, 2024 Full Review Alan Pergament Buffalo News The sisters are so charming that they triumph over contrived scripts. If it weren't for these special girls, Sister, Sister would be just another ABC sitcom playing the family harmony theme. Rated: 3/5 Feb 8, 2024 Full Review Joyce Millman San Francisco Examiner Girls who always dreamed of having a long-lost twin will be enthralled by the whole thing. But that nerdy neighbor who's in love with the girls has got to go -- one Urkel is enough. Feb 8, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

jonathan m Season 1 and 2 on ABC we had too feisty teenagers struggling with life racism they even mentioned periods the Girls went from Rawrrrrrr to Duahhhhh. As soon as they're ended up on Nickelodeon it almost seems like they became more stupid not kèen and Kel stupid but stupid non the less ..... which was stupid in itself considering years beforehand Saved by the Bell dealt with big issues, even Clarissa I guess they didn't have the same writing team they had when they were on ABC. As they got older they became more stupid. I don't mean that in a bad way I love the girls very nice people very good actress. Now the ludicrous plot of how they met I can speak from personal experience it does happen twins can be separated families can't afford to adopt two children and sometimes twins get separated well that's what happened to me. There you go. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
